Abstract
Two methods for preparing hydrazides of synthetic C-7-C-9 carboxylic a cids by the Curtius reaction, starting from the corresponding butyl an d methyl esters, were developed. For each procedure the best synthesis parameters and the reaction rate constants were determined, the metho ds for purification of the hydrazides were compared, and the ways to u tilize wastes were suggested.
