Introduction. - Maffucci's syndrome is a congenital non-hereditary dis
ease very similar to Ollier's disease and associates multiple cutaneou
s hemangiomas, dyschondroplasia and often enchondromas. Exegesis. - We
report a unique case involving synchronous localization of chondrosar
coma in nasal fossae and anterior chest wall, disclosing Maffucci's sy
ndrome. Conclusion. - Atypical chondrosarcoma localization must lend t
o further investigation of potential multiple enchondromatosis. (C) 19
