THE EXACT SEQUENCE PIC(C) -] PIC(C') -] K(1)A(F) -] B(C) -] B(C') FORA MONOIDAL FUNCTOR BETWEEN CLOSED CATEGORIES

Using a K-theoretic approach, we give a detailled construction of a fi ve term exact sequence in symmetric closed categories which generalize s the exact sequences of Picard-Brauer groups in [2], [16], [19], [20] and [22]. As a consequence, It follows that the results of [2] and [2 0] are true, each one in its own context, under less restrictive condi tions.
