Abstract
This paper reports an assessment performed on a flawed titanium pipe, containing longitudinally oriented internal- and external-surface crac ks, using both deterministic and probabilistic R6 methods.:The assessm ent results were evaluated with respect to the methods used in assessm ent. According to the assessment results, the titanium pipe still had the required capacity to fulfill its commission although with the stat ed defects. In order to further improve the integrity status of the ti tanium pipe, some procedures have been proposed. (C) 1998 Elsevier Sci ence Ltd. All rights reserved.
