Abstract
A 26-year-old pregnant female was treated for an intralobar sequestrat ion presenting as exsanguinating hemoptysis, The case brings forth str ong evidence supporting an acquired rather than a congenital cause of some intralobar sequestrations, We discuss the anatomy, epidemiology, and pathogenesis of bronchopulmonary sequestrations.
