Abstract
Together with liquid components (reagents and reaction products), an i nert additive, gasifying in the wave of self-propagating high-temperat ure synthesis, forms a foam. We have studied the structure of such a w ave. Gasification in the reaction and heating zones is considered. In the latter case, the wave exhibits a special unstability.
