Copper and copper phthalocyanine (Pc) deposited simultaneously on a su
bstrate form a thin composite films with nanometric copper islands dis
persed in the Pc matrix. We have documented by the UV-VIS transmittanc
e spectra, IR absorption spectra and conductivity measurements that by
the metal inclusions we may influence the properties of the resulting
films in wide range, offering a possibility of tailoring the properti
