Abstract
A new method has been developed for determining the esterification deg ree (ED) of EVASH copolymers by Fourier transform infrared spectroscop y (FTIR) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). A plot of absorbance va lues (A(1736) - A(720)) versus ED in EVASH samples determined by TGA a nalysis revealed a good linear relationship.
