Abstract
ReexaMination of the spectral data of keruffaride, first isolated from an Okinawan marine sponge Luffariella sp., revealed that the structur e of its cyclopentanepentol moiety has to be revised to the same one a s that contained in crasserides recently isolated from a Caribbean spo nge Pseudoceratina crassa.
