Abstract
Genetic algorithms (GA) have been successfully applied to solve many o ptimization problems in science and engineering. In this work, we demo nstrate by using a priori knowledge, that GA, are useful in NMR parame ter estimation, especially when the signal-to-noise ratio is low. More over, different combinations of reproduction, recombination, and mutat ion schemes can greatly affect the optimization accuracy and efficienc y.
