Abstract
The spectrum of tin was photographed in 150-535 Angstrom wavelength re gion on a 10.7 m grazing incidence spectrograph. The source used was a triggered spark. The analysis of the 4d(7)-4d(6)5p transition array o f Sn VIII led to establishing 18 of 19 energy levels of the 4d(7) grou nd state and 145 of 180 energy levels of the 4d(6)5p excited state. 38 1 lines have been classified in the 197-248 Angstrom region. The least -squares-fitted (LSF) parametric calculations support the analysis. Th e parameter scaling factors have been compared in the Tc I isoelectron ic sequence.
