Abstract
A series of N-substituted 4-amino-2,2-diphenylbutyramide derivatives w as prepared as part of a search for subtype-selective antimuscarinic a gents. The representative compound KRP-197, bearing a 2-methylimidazol = rings as a surrogate of aliphatic amine, was found to be a highly po tent and both MI- and M?-selective antimuscarinic agent.
