MULTIPOLE THEORY ANALYSIS OF A RECTANGULAR TRANSMISSION-LINE FAMILY

A novel quasianalytical method of the multipole theory (MT) method is presented for analysis of a rectangular transmission line family consi sting of a rectangular inner conductor located inside and a rectangula r hollow outer conductor The applied laws and procedures of the MT met hod are also introduced. The results obtained by the MT method are com pared with exact data reported in the literature. The MT method has be en proved to be an accurate, reliable, general-purpose tool SOY the an alysis of rectangular transmission lines. (C) 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
