Abstract
A generalized mode-matching method is proposed to study the scattering of a uniaxial chiral cylinder with arbitrary Cross section, based on the eigenfunction expansion of electromagnetic waves in a uniaxial chi ral medium. The excellent convergence property of the bistatic echo wi dth is numerically verified, which establishes die reliability and app licability of the present cylindrical vector wave functions and genera lized mode-matching method for the two-dimensional single-body problem with a curved surface of uniaxial chiral medium.
