Two C-60 units were covalently linked to 5,10- (cis-) or 5,15- (trans-
) positions at a meso-tetraphenylporphyrin via pyrolidine spacers. H-1
NMR, UV-visible absorption, and fluorescence spectroscopy showed that
there is a considerable interaction among the chromophores in cis-iso
mers due to the close proximity of the two C-60 moieties.
