Abstract
A portable X-ray spectrum gauge is described. This gauge allows the de signing of a portable analytical instrument for measuring the content of chemical elements with atomic numbers exceeding 20 (Ca) directly at the location of the object under study. The concentrations of many el ements with detection thresholds of 10(-3)-10(-2)% can be determined w ith this instrument.
