Abstract
Reactions amongst (Bi,Pb)(2)Sr2CaCu2Ox and combinations of phases on t he line between CaO and CuO were studied. (Sr,Ca)(2)CuO3 and CuO forme d in phase assemblages that initially contained CaCuO2, or CaO plus Cu O, or Ca2CuO3 plus CuO. The results showed that the phase assemblage c omposed of (Bi,Pb)2Sr2CaCu2Ox, Ca2CuOx, and CuO was the best of those studied to form (Bi,Pb)(2)Sr2Ca2Cu3Ox.
