Two new species of the genus Agathis Latreille, A. icarus sp. n. and A
. nixoni sp. n., are described from southern Spain. Both species were
observed feeding on the nectar of Anacyclus clavatus (Desf.) Pers.. (A
steraceae). A. nixoni was also observed mating on flowers. Mating by p
arasitoids at feeding sites is discussed.
