Abstract
The aging rate R for DME-filled wire chamber was investigated. For the drift chamber of the KEDR detector, R equals 45%/(C/cm). We conclude that, with careful choice of materials, the DME-filled drift chamber c an operate without considerable aging effects. (C) 1998 Elsevier Scien ce B.V. All rights reserved.
