Abstract
The study of recently collected specimens of neotropical Sapindaceae r eveals the need for various taxonomic changes. Matayba spondioides Sta ndley from Mexico is transferred to Averrhoidium; Palluinia lachnocarp a Bentham ex Radlkofer (Chimborazoa lachnocarpa (Bentham ex Radlkofer) H. Beck) from Ecuador is transferred to Serjania (therefore, Chimbora zoa is reduced to the synonymy of Serjania); and Toulicia acuminata Ra dlkofer from Amazonas, Brazil, is transferred to the closely related P orocystis.
