Abstract
We have measured the spectrum of light hadrons (pi, rho, a1, b1, f0/a0 , N, and DELTA) in the quenched approximation to lattice QCD on a 32(3 ) x 64 lattice at beta = 6/g2 = 6.5. For these measurements we have us ed staggered quark propagators from two different wall sources. The qu ark masses used were m(q) = 0.01, m(q) = 0.005, and m(q) = 0.025 (latt ice units), allowing an m(pi)/m(rho) as low as approximately 0.4. We w ere able to verify the PCAC relation m(pi)2 is-proportional-to m(q), a nd estimate f(pi) = 93(4) MeV.
