than the Pt-Br bond trans to NH3 [2.397(3) angstrom]. The dihedral an
gle between the Pt coordination plane and the imidazole ring is 69.1(8
)-degrees, while the nitro group makes an angle of 32(1)-degrees with
the imidazole ring plane. The structure is stabilized by the hydrogen
bonding of the NH3 ligands and the hydroxyl groups. hyl-5-nitro-1-imid

(2) angstrom. The dihedral angle between the Pd coordination plane and
the imidazole ring is 88.6(1)-degrees, while the nitro groups make an
angle of 3.9(3)-degrees with the imidazole plane. The structure is st
abilized by hydrogen bonding between the hydroxyl groups and the chlor
o ligands.
