Abstract
The N-F bond length of 1.407 (6) angstrom in the title molecule is clo se to the value of 1.37 (2) angstrom found in romethyl-4-fluoro-1,4-di azoniabicyclo[2.2.2]octane bis(tetrafluoroborate) [Banks, Sharif & Pri tchard (1993). Acta Cryst. C49, 492-495]. Both these bonds are substan tially longer than those in NF4+.BF4-, which range from 1.265 (9) to 1 .321 (10) angstrom [Christie, Lind, Tborup, Russell, Fawcett & Bau (19 88). Inorg. Chem. 27, 2450-2454].
