Abstract
The tricyclic title compound, (trans-anti-cis)-tetramethyl .0(2,8)]pen tadec-9-ene-5,5,13,13-tetracarboxylate, C26H38O10, has a trans-anti-ci s stereochemistry. Ring A adopts a chair conformation, ring B a half c hair and ring C a twist chair. The methoxymethoxymethyl substituent ad opts a gauche-gauche conformation.
