Abstract
The crystal structure of the title compound has been determined by X-r ay crystallography. The two terminal rings have chair conformations, w hile the central ring is disordered between distorted boat and chair s tructures. The three O atoms have a cis configuration, confirming the similarity of this compound to certain antibiotic ionophores.
