Using the crossed-beams technique the following absolute cross section
s sigma(q.q+n) have been measured for the reaction e(-) + Tiq+ --> Ti(
q+n+) + (N+1)e(-): double ionization sigma(1.3) sigma(2.4) sigma(3.5)
sigma(4.6) sigma(5.7) sigma(6.8) triple ionization sigma(1.4) sigma(2.
5) sigma(3.6) quadruple ionization sigma(1.5) sigma(2.6) Measurements
for high charge states and ionization degrees, respectively, show sign
ificant contributions of inner-shell processes which partly dominate t
he respective cross section. The results are compared with the scaling
laws of Fisher et al and the semiempirical formula published by Sheve
lko and Tawara, respectively.
