Abstract
The fluorescence characteristics and luminescence mechanism of nanocry stallines Dy1-xSrxCoO3-y(0.0 less than or equal to x less than or equa l to 1.0) samples were studied. The results show that the fluorescence of nanocrystallines Dy1-xSrxCoO3-y are quantum confinement photolumin escence. Because of the optical band gap variation,the quantum confine ment effect is yielded. Its luminescence mechanism is quantum confinem ent model. It is confirmed that the mechanism of concentration self-qu enching of Dy3+ is an electric dipole - quadrupole interaction. The os cillator strength of dipole transition of nanocrystallines Dy1-xSrxCoO 3-y are 3. 256 x 10(-6) similar to 41.00 x 10(-6). The molar extinctio n coefficients are 0. 8581 similar to 10.82.
