Thanks to their energy advantages and well developed design, roller gr inding mills are highly suitable for preliminary grinding of cement cl inker. Using simulation calculations, which are carried out for the tu be mill by the reference state method, it is possible to determine the optimum level of preliminary grinding as well as the specific energy consumption of a roller grinding mill and tube mill connected in serie s.
