Abstract
Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy in combination with a s equential injection analysis (SIA) manifold was used for the investiga tion of the kinetic properties of the quantitative analysis of the rea ction mixtures. Different sucrose solutions were prepared automaticall y and with the quantitative results provided by the chemometric spectr a evaluation, the Michaelis-Menten constant (K-m) was estimated to be 43 mmol/l.
