Abstract
The nymph, female subimago and egg of Prosopistoma pearsonorum sp. n. are described from localities in far north Queensland, Australia. This is believed to be the only species of Prosopistoma known from Austral ia, the previous record of P. sedlaceki Peters being a misidentificati on.
