Abstract
alpha-Aldopyranosylcyanides were efficiently prepared by a radical cya nation reaction between glycosyl bromides or glycosyl dithiocarbonates with tert-butylisocyanide, tris(trimethylsilyl)silane and 2, 2'-azois obutyronitriles. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
