Abstract
We report an improved procedure for the asymmetric transfer of alkyl g roups from zinc to aldehydes utilizing bis(sulfonamide) ligands. The n ew methodology is easier to perform and, in some cases, provides the a lcohol products with higher enantioselectivities than the original met hodology. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd.
