Abstract
A new norditerpenoiod alkaloid, ''conambine'' (1) has been isolated fr om the seeds of Consolida ambigua L. Its structure has been establishe d on the basis of its spectroscopic data and chemical correlation with anthranoyllycoctonine (3).
