Abstract
Growth kinetics of Geotrichum candidum and Penicillium camemberti may be continuously recorded with the help of a new turbidimetric device s pecially designed for the case of filamentous microorganisms. Turbidit y measured at 660 nm varied in proportion to the dry cellular weight ( total biomass) concentration in the range 0-5 g l(-1). (C) 1998 Elsevi er Science B.V.
