Abstract
The reaction between Ti(OR)(4) (R = Et or Pr-i) and 2-phenoxybenzoic a cid in refluxing toluene led to [Ti-6(mu(3)-O)(6)(mu-O2CC6H4OPh)(6)(OR )(6)]; its structure corresponds to an assembly of two staggered trian gular units sharing six edges (actually the mu(3)-O ligands) and conne cted via the carboxylate ligands.
