Abstract
Blood samples of 143 healthy pet rabbits were used to establish refere nce ranges for different serum biochemistry values. The results are co mpared with literature. The rabbits were tested as well to antibodies to Encephalitozoon cuniculi by the india-ink immunoreaction. Seroposit ive animals revealed a significant increase in blood urea nitrogen and creatinine levels. The results are discussed.
