Abstract
We diagnosed a case of primary cardiac lymphoma using transthoracic ne edle biopsy. A 70-year-old man was admitted because of dyspnea. Magnet ic resonance imaging revealed a tumor mass in the right ventricular fr ee wall. We performed ultrasound guided transthoracic needle biopsy us ing an 18-G needle, and diagnosed as malignant lymphoma by the biopsy specimen. This method may be useful for the diagnosis of cardiac lymph oma. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ireland Ltd.
