This paper has applied the MW-MILE methodology to allocate the transmi
ssion supplementary charge to real and reactive power loads. The charg
e for usage of an individual transmission asset is split into a non-lo
cational component, due to the unused capacity of the asset, and a loc
ational component, due the actually used capacity of the asset. The la
tter is allocated, using the previously proposed electricity tracing m
ethod, to individual real and reactive loads in the network.
