The present paper proposes new graphical representation methods of dyn
amic behavior of power systems. Four kinds of representation methods b
ased on animation techniques are proposed in this paper. These represe
ntations make it possible to visualize results of dynamic stability, v
oltage stability simulations, and the results of eigen-value analysis
using a personal computer. With the help of these representations, one
can easily understand the dynamic characteristics of electrical power
systems.
