Abstract
New calculations of the fifth virial coefficient are presented for bin ary hard sphere mixtures. These improve on, and in some cases correct, previous results. A polynomial fit is used to extend the results to a ll diameter ratios, with an accuracy better than 1.05%. It is confirme d that the fifth virial coefficient is positive for all diameter ratio s and mole fractions.
