Abstract
The young adult doing his army duty is experiencing frustration and is being restrained in his affective boundaries. This situation challeng es the psychological economy organised during the adolescence (integra tion of a sufficiently stable and reliable relationship with a mother figure and in difficulties concerning oedipal organisation). Depressiv e disorders of this patients are evaluated by the authors with the dou ble concept of depressive vulnerability and immaturity.
