Abstract
The effect of interchain coupling on the electronic transmittance of Q uasi-1D systems consisting of identical chains containing impurities i n the form of blocks of n identical impurity atoms. The regions where transmittance was nearly unity for a single chain are now modified by fluctuations and different metallic regions may merge together.
