Abstract
We study bifurcation of stationary solutions, from a given equilibrium state, Sor a system described by magnetohydrodynamic equations (mhd), with variable density, and with adiabatic law. We use Nash-Moser tech nics to obtain existence of solutions in Holder spaces for a simplifie d problem. Then, for the complete mhd equations, we introduce a functi onal equation containing compact operators. (C) Academie des Sciences/ Elsevier, Paris.
