Abstract
The Minimal Access Therapy Training Unit at The Royal Surrey County Ho spital Guildford (UK) reports on the initial success with the use of n -butyl 2-cyanoacrylate glue for fixing polypropylene mesh during lapar oscopic hernia repair. We report our experience with seven such repair s and describe the prototype glue dispenser and mode of application us ed to fix the mesh. This is the first reported use of glue in laparosc opic hernia repair.
