Abstract
New analytical formulas have been developed for evaluating the asympto tic impedance matrix of an asymmetric gap by using the integral transf orm method. Application of the newly derived formulas shows a dramatic improvement of the computation time for evaluating the overall impeda nce-matrix elements for the symmetric and asymmetric gaps while retain ing the accuracy.
