Abstract
We estimate the production rates of supersymmetric particles in centra l heavy-ion collisions at LHC. The parton cascade model is used to see k for possible collective phenomena which enlarge the production proba bility of very heavy particles. Even if there is some indication of su ch cooperative effects, higher energy and higher luminosity of proton beams at LHC disfavour heavy-ion reactions in the search for supersymm etric particles.
