Abstract
A patient with a locally advanced cervical esophageal carcinoma invadi ng the trachea underwent total esophagopharyngolaryngectomy and resect ion of the posterior wall of the trachea. The esophagus was repaired w ith a gastric pull-up, and the posterior defect in the trachea was rep aired with a free radial forearm flap, obtaining a satisfactory result .
