Abstract
The results of studies carried out in the past five years on the gas-p hase synthesis of organochlorosilanes, pentachlorodisiloxanes, organoc hlorogermanes, and organochlorostannanes at 400-550 degrees C in the p resence of hexachlorodisilane or 1,1-dichlorol-silacyclopent-3-ene as sources of dichlorosilylene are summarized.
