Abstract
FE algorithm for large anisotropic hyper-elastic deformations is prese nted. This algorithm is based on the concept of the local reference co nfiguration. The spectral decomposition of the elastic modulus tensor into eigentensors of elastic deformations has been utilized in the con stitutive equations. Some numerical results are also presented.
