Abstract
The synthesis of aromatic monodispersed telechelic dithiols performed from the esterification of thioglycolic acid with aromatic monodispers ed telechelic diols is presented. The diols were prepared from the tra nsesterification of ethylene glycol with the dimethyl terephthalate. I n all cases the yields arc high and the products are carefully charact erized by H-1 and C-13-NMR.
